This is Dublin's only photographic gallery with exhibitions of international
and Irish contemporary photographs, posters, and books on photography.

Irish Museum of Modern Art, Kilmainham
Opened in 1991, initially the placing of this in a disused hospital created
controversy. The museum displays exhibitions from modern Irish artists.

Temple Bar Gallery and Studios
Founded in 1983 in the hearth of Dublin's "Left Bank," this is one
of the largest studio/gallery complexes in Europe. More than 30 Irish artists
work here at a variety of contemporary visual arts, from sculpture and painting
to printing and photography.

The Douglas Hyde Gallery
Housed in a modern building on the Trinity College campus and named after Ireland's
first president, this two-storey gallery focuses on contemporary Irish and International
avant-garde art, bringing in works from Berlin, Tokyo, and New York as well
as London and Paris.
