Day 1: Dublin - Adare
Departing from Dublin today you will travel west through the lush farmland of the Midlands stopping to see the 18th century Emo Court House and the amazing Birr Castle Gardens, home to the Great Telescope - a wonder of early scientific invention. Your overnight stop will be at the Dunraven Arms in Adare - one of the prettiest villages in Ireland.

Day 2: Adare - Lough Rinn
Moving on from Adare today’s route takes in the fascinating monastic site of Clonmacnoise and the great Georgian mansion house of Strokestown Park and the sad history of the Great Famine of the mid-19th century. In the early evening you will arrive at the beautiful Lough Rynn Castle Hotel.

Day 3: Northern Ireland
Today, you will cross the border into Northern Ireland for a visit to the beautiful house and gardens at Florence Court followed by some free time in the lakeside market town of Enniskillen. After a scenic drive through the Lakelands district you return to Lough Rynn for afternoon tea and time to explore the impressive walled gardens.

Day 4: Lough Rynn Castle - Dublin
After a leisurely start to the day you will explore some of the highlights of Ireland’s ancient past: from the ancient monastic site of Kells to the 12th century Trim Castle arriving back in Dublin about 6:30pm.
