They have an early bird until haf 8 of 2 courses for €16 and after this they have a set menu of 2 courses for €20. You can just order off there menu seperatly also. I ordered off the set menu which had excellent choice not your usual cheapest menu options. We had cantonese duck and fillet of beef with black pepper sauce it was superb. The restaurant had a lovely setting and the staff were lovely. When we finished our starter they didnt rush out with the main dish to get us out quickly they waited then asked were we ready for our main tought this was a nice touch. Recommend this one to all my friends and will definitly be returning again. They offer a 2 or 3 course Early Bird menu (Euro 16/20), with a vast choice of starters & main courses and the food was lovely. We were offered a nice table by the window and a mixture of plain & thai prawn crackers were delivered to our table while we made our decisions. We had chicken & sweetcorn soup and the veggie spring rolls to begin. These were followed by sweet & sour chicken and prawns in black bean sauce. There was no skimping on the meat or the seafood in the dishes and both were accompanied by a huge portion of fried rice. I would usually find it hard to be excited by rice, but this deserves a special mention. I don't know if it was because we were there early and were rewarded by the freshest of offerings, but I noticed that it looked tasty even as it was being served onto our plates - it wasn't stodgy, there was lots of egg and it had a nice, glistening quality to it. Best fried rice I've had, by a mile. After a bit of a pause, we opted to go for the 3rd course and selected pavlova and ice creams. The pavlova was cut from a full pie (as opposed to an individual meringue portion) and had an attractive pale toffee colour. A scoop of chocolate, strawberry & vanilla ice creams were dowsed in chocolate sauce and had 2 chocolate wafers for good luck. We rounded off our dinner with coffee and tea (a nice big pot too) with a few chocolates on the side. We were the only couple in there at one point, although we did overlap with 2 families at the beginning and end of our meal, and the restaurant was playing a Christmas CD which was a bit tacky, so it's hard to comment on atmosphere. But the restaurant has nice decor with clean facilities, and the service was attentive, without being intrusive. Plus the food was really really good at a very reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.
