A landmark establishment north of Dun Laoghaire, Bakers Corner has all the essential ingredients: a gutsy regular crowd every night of the week, uppity pub food options, and several different areas to inhabit for the evening. A central southside location means it's an option. I wasn't disappointed it was delicious. Really good lounge service, a warm atmosphere and good value for money. The Silverside Corned Beef Sunday Roast is second to none. Was in here yesterday for a soup and sandwich with a friend and we got a great value deal, a tray of nice sambos and a piping hot bowl of soup for a fiver, not bad at all. Always a good vibe in here, especially for sporting ocasions. Best Sundaydinner in the area in my opinion, nice pints of Guinness too! Joined Jul 09 11 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... Lang (Connoisseur) Credibility Score: 42%   Visited: 14 Nov 2009 | Posted: over 2 months ago Myself and T ate here before the Ireland Game on Saturday evening. Overall, it was very good. I had the fish and chips, which was really tasty. Teresa had the Omlette which she really enjoyed, saying it was nice and fluffy. She also got some French Fries, which when they arrived were slightly cold. She didn't really eat them, I thought they were alright. With a Guinness and a Corona the total came to €35, reasonable enough. Only thing of note that I would mention was that we were served by three different waiting staff which made it a little impersonal, but given that it was a match day they were extremely busy. Will eat here again, and complements to the chef.
