As always great choice of food, everyone was very satisfied with their options and all left feeling very happy. The staff as always are fantastic and went out of their way to look after us. Nothing was too much trouble. Full marks.... Food was very good. My husband had an omelette which consisted of 2 omelettes and chips and salad. He wants to go back again for same. I had steak, onions, chips and it was very nice. I had the lasagne and chips and my friend had the chicken kiev. Both were quite basic, with generous portions. We also had a few bottles of wine, and the table service was quite good. We were however handed the bill before we were finished our wine, which was at about 9 o clock - a little annoying but other than that the service was good. Had the pie (think it was advertised as guinness and beef, it's not the same menu as appears on this site) it was so tasty. Got chips and a side salad between us - included in price. The side salad was nearly as big as a main, and the chips were the tasty BIG ones, not those skinny bites. Overall it was very tasty, table sevice was fast and friendly. Really good pub athmosphere I like, but loose the HUGE big screen tv. Would recommend this for eats, and would go back. Even so, we try to avoid going there for any meals or evening drinks. The food and drink is WAY overpriced, smaller food portions compared to other Irish bars and doesn't even taste that good. The only thing going for this pub is the atmosphere and location.
