Unfortunately the food didn't leave up to the same. I ate here on Friday evening with a friend. While he went for the a la carte menu I went for the €20.50 special 3 course meal. On the face of it, the value is excellent. However the quality of the food is definitely not great. The barbecue ribs to start were very gloopy and the beef with black bean was the standard of a normal takeaway. My friend though had a much better experience with the Teriyaki fillet beef which was a very decent portion and tasted lovely. His starter was also much better. The difference in standard I'm putting down to eating off the cheaper menu so if you are looking for quality over quantity definitely go a la carte. As it was a Saturday night the restaurant had a lively buzz and was quite busy. The value for money is excellent for 2 courses and bottle of wine at €50 per couple. The food is fresh and very tasty, and they were able to adapt one of mains to suit which was great. The service was good, the food was a little slow in coming out, we were in no rush on the night so it didn't bother us but we were waiting over half an hour in between courses which is a bit too long. Portions are large and the sharing platter to start is very generous and tasty. Will definitely be returning. The decor is lovely, service was very good and food was really delicious. There was a menu which had starter and main course and a bottle of wine for two people for €50 in total, an absolute bargain. I would definitely go to this restaurant again.
