At the Dandelion Brasserie they have endeavored to suit everyone’s taste with a wide range of reasonably priced Starters, Pizza, Gourmet Burgers, Noodles, Pastas, Steak and Fish dishes. Incidentally, this was the site (the Former Dandelion market) on which Irelands most famous rock band U2 gave their first live performance and is an integral feature of Dublin’s walking musical tour. I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. The food itself was pretty bog standard though it was relatively inexpensive considering it is on Stephens Green. I had a mushroom soup for starter and a burger and chips for a main course. They tasted alright but nothing too special. My wife had a caesar salad and a chicken dish for main and she enjoyed both of them. The majority of the people I was with enjoyed their food. The €5 cocktail menu is pretty amazing and the staff are really friendly. Its a place I go to at least once or twice a week. They have special offers on food and drinks all the time - two for one evening meals mon-fri, two for one drink offers on Monday nights also! I go there quite often for lunch meetings and for dinner parties with the gang. Highly recommend this place for all you need all in one and its location is perfect - right across from the luas! Atmosphere quite enough and very sophisticated "night clubby" decor. Service was quick and efficient, although my fish and chips seemed to have been cooling off for a while, but was nice enough. Can recommend this restaurant to anybody who needs a meal around Stephens Green and is on fixed time frame. Huge roll came with plenty of goats cheese. Prices I think were a little bit expensive, and service was good once we got our order in, however it took about 10 minutes to get our order in, won't be rushing back. The food was beautiful, not one of us didn't enjoy our meal and all said we would definitly return and also recommened it to friends. I had the chicken wings to start and these were hot, too hot actually, they literally made my lips numb! This was a view held by most of us who ordered them. Helpings were very generous though, easily enough to share, particularly with a night out to follow. I had the burger and homecut chips for my main course, and this was very tasty. The chips were good too. Service was a little slow, but it was a busy weekend evening, and the staff were courteous.
