Start your journey with a splendid drive to Northern Ireland, departing from Belfast. By 9:30am, you will be enjoying the beautiful Glens of Antrim in this most picturesque of areas on the island of Ireland. Along this fantastic coastal drive, you will marvel at views of Ralthlin Island and the shores of Scotland in the distance.
From here, the tour will visit the Giant's Causeway Visitor Centre, re-opened in 2012. Finally you will have time to enjoy the local artisan shops where 90% of products are produced locally.
From here, you will depart for the main attraction, the Giant’s Causeway. The Causeway has often been described as the 8th natural wonders of the world and once you experience it yourself, you will see why. Formed by more than 40,000 hexagonal columns created during volcanic activity thousands of years ago, legend has it that Finn McCool, the famous Irish giant, built the Causeway during a battle with his rival giant from Scotland, Angus. The columns creep into the sea and then reappear on the Scottish coast where an absolutely identical landscape may be found. From here, you will enjoy an optional gourmet lunch with your fellow travellers for an additional €30 at one of the finest restaurants in Northern Ireland. Sit back and relax as you enjoy a wonderful lunch and share the experience with your fellow travellers.
After a relaxing and delicious lunch, you visit the Titanic Experience in Belfast, where you will travel to the ocean and discover the true legend of RMS Titanic. This is an interactive experience of the Harland and Wolfe shipyard and the lives of the 40,000 workers who worked so hard to build the doomed ship. Opened on the 100th anniversary of the sinking, the experience will introduce you to life on the ship in 1st, 2nd and 3rd class passengers and cabins. There are even original artefacts for you to marvel at. In the multimedia centre, you will experience a tour of the underwater wreck itself.
After an unforgettable day, the tour departs Belfast and makes its way back to Dublin, returning at around 7:30pm, where you will have enjoyed experiences, which will last you a lifetime.
