Harveys Guesthouse is a family run establishment located right in the heart of the capital on Upper Gardiner Street, Dublin 1. The house is only just a few hundred metres from O'Connell's Bridge and is a restored Georgian building. The whole of the city centre is at your feet when you stay at Harveys Guesthouse.
The bedrooms have all been renovated and come with French sleigh beds as well as a number of in room amenities including a TV and a telephone. All the 15 rooms are ensuite. It's a non-smoking residence but you can smoke outside as has become traditional in Ireland these days. There's ample private car parking as well and if you don't have a car there's a bus stop right outside the door and this can get you to and from the airport.
The owners of Harveys Guesthouse will be more than happy to help you plan your excursions during your stay in Dublin. Ireland's most famous export is probably Guinness so perhaps a trip down to the Guinness Storehouse is worthy of your time. Other attractions include Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin Castle and Trinity College.
If you'd like to do some shopping then a trip to Henry Street, off of O'Connell Street, is an idea spot, or perhaps head towards Grafton Street. At the end of the street you'll find Saint Stephens Green Park and shopping centre. This area is close to Temple Bar which is the nightlife centre of the city and home to many of the finest pubs, clubs and restaurants.
