We availed of their good corkage fee and brought our own wine from shop next door. I love the food here. I'm not very adventurous with Indian so had my usual onion bahjis, chicken korma and pilau rice and garlic naan. All gorgeous! One friend is a vegetarian and she always likes the food here too. Only downside was the dessert. They used to have a nice sorbet, but the lemon sorbet I got was sticky and too sweet - like chilled icing sugar with lemon juice. I love the food here though, will just avoid the dessert from now on. Place is quite roomy although there weren't many people in. In my opinion the restaurant does some justice to Indian cuisine unlike most so called Indian restaurant run by non-Indians. Service was good as well. True value for money. Will be back for sure. The food is always excellent and very good value. I love their chicken saag, tender pieces of chicken breast in a garlic and spinach sauce, which I request with chiles. My son loves the Chicken Korma. The delivery always arrives piping hot and I usually have enough left over for lunch the next day. We visited the restaurant recently and the food was excellent as usual but the restaurant lacks athmosphere due to the lack of customers. However, this would not put me off as the food is excellent and they have been around for a very long time, so they are obviously doing something right. Great restaurant for a family or crowd, where you create your own athmosphere.
