Being located just a short stroll off O'Connell St its very handy when needing a large satisfying meal or something smaller. You are greeted quickly at the door and there is almost always a table although I have seen queues at peak times. I often to for the cannelloni with spinach and ricotta which is perfect for veggies like me and is oven baked. Along with a generous side salad it never fails to fill you up. The tiramisu is also gorgeous Joined May 10 6 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... nolanwe (Foodie) Credibility Score: 26%   Visited: 05 Jun 2010 | Posted: last month Had dinner, main courses only, before West Life concert. Excellent pasta and house white is very drinkable. Fast, effecient, friendly service and reasonably priced. Their pasta is excellent. Will be back '); //--> Joined Apr 07 33 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... irishtweety (Guru) Credibility Score: 78%   Visited: 27 May 2010 | Posted: 2 Months ago I had lunch here today and really enjoyed it. The food was lovely, staff were very friendly, service was quite quick which is exactly what you want at lunch time and all for a very reasonable price... For €10.95 you get a choice of soup / garlic bread followed by a main course (full menu of pasta and pizza) plus a soft drink or tea / coffee... Definitely worth a visit at lunchtime... Noseybear (Guru) Credibility Score: 55%   Visited: 28 Jan 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago Went here on a work night out recently. The atmosphere was lovely, very intimate. The menu is very extensive, so much so, that its almost impossible to decide. The starter was very tasty, the normal Italian starters. For the main, I had pizza and many of the others in the group had pasta - all very tasty. My only complaint was that we had to ask fr a bottle of wine 3 times, before it was delivered to the table. We had 1 pizza, a side of chips and 1 todays special : garlic bread, salmon with a choice of side dish and a glass of white wine- all for 15 euro, so the price was quite afordable. We would have gone for two of those, but as 1 of us didnt want garlic, and was told that we would have to pay extra to get just plain bread- without garlic. :O - we didnt. appariently all these dishes are made ahead and it just takes sooo long to cut a slice of bread... :/ The service was very nice to begin with but not very acomodating or at least commercially savvy when we found a hair in the middle of the side salad! the response was oh im so sorry .. eh.. so do you want ur coffee or dessert now? No mention of compensation or anything. Not very reasuring for future visits, though we have been there before and it has been good. Least to say we did not leave a tip ... We were pre theatre and tight for time. I had a pepperoni pizza and my wife had the calzone. We were served quite promptly and the pizzas were very good. We had some of the house red which was drinkable. We would certainly like to go back for a more leisurely visit and try some of the other parts of the menu Joined Dec 06 9 Reviews 1 Hats Off! loading... wileecoyote43 (Foodie) Credibility Score: 50%   Visited: 13 Jan 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago My date of visit was the second time I dined here early on a Wednesday night before needing to be somewhere else. The best thing about this place is the speed at which the food comes out. On my first visit I asked my friend who was already there to just order a spaghetti bolognese; 5 minutes later I arrived at the restaurant and my food appeared just moments after that. Great for needing to be fed quickly before a show, and on each occasion the restaurant was more than half full. The service is prompt and attentive, the food (spaghetti bolognese twice - not terribly original I know!) is perfectly satisfactory for the money you pay and I like the cosiness of the place. The houe wine was quite tasty also. I would visit again with friends for an unfussy dinner. << First Page < Prev [Results 1 - 8 of 10] Next > Last Page >>
