"As a simple diner it's very well pitched, serving decent food at fair prices." - Paolo Tullio Restaurant Reviews Add Your Review » Your Say Joined Jun 10 7 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... tarachris (Foodie) Credibility Score: 26%   Visited: 20 May 2010 | Posted: last month definately a reliable place to go for a meal. Food is nice and the creme brulee was delicious. Maybe a little over priced and not somewhere I would rave about or go for a special meal. Lovely lunch menu which is quite reasonable. service was average. Overall I would say an averagely nice restaurant. The food is delicious and there is a wide variety from which to choose (huge burgers or healthy salads or more expensive options like duck etc, which is still not expensive for Dublin). The chicken wings are to DIE for - highly recommend these! The staff are so so friendly and v.attentive, no matter how busy it is in the restaurant. I love this place and it's so nice to be able to enjoy a good quality meal at a very affordable price. Joined Oct 08 5 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... The food is always excellent as is the service and it is very reasonably priced for the quality of the food you reserve. It is a restaurant I return to time and time again and it never disappoints. IMO (Newbie) Credibility Score: 16%   Visited: 18 Mar 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago I had never been to Kafka before as Im not from around there but I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. The service was what really made it,friendly, relaxed and attentive. The food was also really good, very tasty. My OH got the Morrocan Chicken which was a little on the small size for a hungry gentleman. All in all, a very pleasant experience with good food and delicious house wine. 3 starters,6 main courses came to €133 which I thought was great value. This did not include the price of the wine which had been paid for seperately. The food is always delicious and fresh and the staff are beyond nice. I've been back time and time again. I love their lunch time menu - they do a mean veg soup and a hearty soup that will fill you up for the whole day for €5 and €6 each. What a bargain! And their pasta dishes are always tasty and filling. it's worth a visitI give this place a firm 5/5! I met a friend who works in harold's cross and walked up after work. I'd been told the chicken wings are great, so we shared those for a starter. the portions are huge and they lived up to expectation. I got soup instead of a main course - very tasty. My friend went for the fish goujons burger with fries - again, very hearty portions. With two coffees it was still less than 35 euro between us and with tip it was a very affordable, comfortable night out. The staff are so nice here too, really nice and attentive. << First Page < Prev [Results 1 - 8 of 13] Next > Last Page >>
