Good value. The service though wasnt great - the waiter didnt even look me in the eye and ignored me when i went up to pay. Nice simple good value country food though! Had the kingfisher sandwich- delicious! Bacon, mayo lettuce, tomato AND chicken. Very tasty indeed and big pot of tea to wash it all down. Traditional hearty food. Plenty of kids there though so if you're looking for somewhere quite, maybe not the best bet. Perfect for a quick bite. Starter dishes were shifty cleared as our main dishes arrived, three fresh cods!!Grilled, poached & deep fried all served with home cut chips, salad & simple wonderful. Highly recommend this simple cooking, done superbly.
