Would definitely visit again. Seriously! I have never eaten such a tasty pizza in my life, not even in Italy! Spicy pepperoni with hot hot chillies cooled down with a creamy goats cheese. Have never tasted that combination before nor would I have, except I visited the restaurant last week during the afternoon for a quick bite with my kids when the manager asked if we cared to try out some of their new pizzas! Apparently they intend opening a pizza takeout next door and want the customer opinions on the new additions. I was really impressed. I finished it off with a cool beer and the best part was we were only charged for the drinks! Cool!! The day was a scorcher so we opted to sit outside on the terrace. We were shown the special menu and also the a la carte.I was very surprised at the price.2 courses for 2 people and a bottle of their house wine for €45! Great value. My husband chose a different wine to the house one which was a little bit more expensive so the manager/waiter adjusted the price accordingly All in all we spent €50 including dessert and 2 coffees.. Staff were very attentive and didn't forget about us even though we were outside. A really enjoyable experience. The restaurant itself is nice - airy & bright. The head waiter / manager keeps a lighthearted & fun atmosphere, even though there were only about 3 other tables occupied. Unfortunately, there was a lack of communication between himself and the waitress as we were asked by both each time if we wanted drinks / were ready to order / wanted dessert / coffee etc!!! I think it was just a result of them not being busy, but there was a little too much checking on us & interference from the staff! There was also a bit of confusion with the bill & whether we were entitled to the special price! We all had the sea bream from the special menu which was delicious, although quite a small portion. The special menu value is OK, but the portions are small, so you won't leave feeling stuffed (which actually is a good thing for me)! It was so tasty and would definitely recommend. But I have to say I didn't find the staff very friendly at all. I actually thought they were quite rude but thankfully the food made up for it. Maybe it was just an 'off day' for them but will go back and see does it change. Most of us opted for the lunch special which was great value at €10.95. One or 2 of us only wanted one course so they adjusted the price. We told the manager that we didn't have a lot of time (as we were on a lunch break) and he went out of his way to get our food out quickly. This is a great little spot for a quick bite during the week. I have to say their pizza's have to be the best I've tasted in a long time.
