The Lucan Spa Hotel is located in Lucan, County Dublin. The N4 passes right through the town and will give you easy access to both the city centre and indeed the West of Ireland. The hotel is over 100 years old but the building has been renovated many times over the years.
The rooms in the Lucan Spa Hotel offer you all the comforts of home and they are all ensuite. The rooms come with a TV, telephone, iron, and a tea/coffee making facility. If you're really looking to spoil yourself you can head down to the Honora D Restaurant or the new Earl Bistro, both of which offer very fine dining experiences. The Ballyneety Bar is the oldest part of the hotel and is a very nice spot for meeting friends for a drink.
The Lucan Spa Hotel offers easy access to the city centre (to the east) along the N4 and also to the West - the N4 which branches off to the N5 and N6; between them you have access to the entire western seaboard, from Galway to Sligo. Before you head into the west you might want to make sure you have fully explored the capital. Located in the city centre is Trinity College which is the oldest university in the country and is also home to the Book of Kells. Near to Trinity there's Grafton Street which is one of the finest shopping streets in the city. Temple Bar is the nightlife capital of the city, and you'll not be disappointed with its large array of pubs, clubs and restaurants.
