Luigi Malones is a unique blend of great value and exciting international foods, offering exclusive imported wines, world wide beers and speciality cocktails. An original part of the historic Dublin City Wall is displayed within the restaurant. This wall which incorporated part of the Augustinian Friary dating to 1260 was discovered when digging the foundations for the restaurant. It is a matter of historical record that at least two murders were commited in 1379 within the precincts of the Friary. Also underneath was ceramic tile, depicting ‘The Rampant Lion’ (nicknamed The Devil’s Tile) believed to be the oldest tile ever found in Ireland. The original tile was donated to the National Museum and replica is now displayed in the wall. The limestone flagstones on the floor mark our the location of the old city wall. Started with the chicken wings & they are the proper buffalo ones I love! One of my favourite places in Dublin to have these. For my main I had the peri peri chicken, which was nice and spicy. I had it with a green salad. The desserts here are really really fab. One would be enough for 2 people, but if you really have a sweet tooth and don’t like to share, splash out here! They may not be very adventurous, but they sure taste good!!! We ordered from the Early Bird, great value, pity the famous chicken wings were not included. They restaurant was very considering it was 6.30pm on a Tuesday. We really enjoyed the evening and staff were very friendly. Top marks. It was my first visit and I have been back a few times. The food is fab. Portions cud do with being smaller.. but that's kinda a gud complaint.. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And the pricing is very reasonable.. I prefer the early bird menu tho.. the options are better.. But its a great main menu too.. Have been back, and will be back in the future.. It was early on Sunday evening so the restaurant was not too busy but still had a good atmosphere. The food is predictable enough but was very tasty. Service is efficient and food is very good value. Its especially worthwhile signing up for the loyalty card. We had two €5 vouchers from a visit to the Cork branch and got another one from this visit which we look forward to using soon. << First Page < Prev [Results 1 - 8 of 123] Next > Last Page >>
