Messrs Maguire is a refreshing combination of old and new Dublin. The decor creates an authentic feel, though the music and boisterous crowd betray the surroundings. Also a microbrewery. Mix of young foreigners and locals. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for tasty cheap eats. I had goujons and chips as did two others (one with wedges). I got garlic sauce on the side which was delicious. The goujons seemed of good quality and nice size portion. Big bowl of chips and you could still see the potato skins so they weren't frozen. I preferred the chips to the wedges. Two of my friends had the caesar salad which was well presented with nice looking crispy bacon. They said it was lovely. THe food came promptly and the waitress checked everything was ok a few times. It was very handy for heading to the laughter lounge afterwards and will definitely use it next time. '); //--> Joined Aug 09 18 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... Deeee (Connoisseur) Credibility Score: 49%   Visited: 03 Feb 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago I love Messrs! I've eaten here a few times and really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in there!! The portions are very big and I loved my spicy cheese burger. I have a very soft spot for spicy and Mexican food, so I always manage to find something with spicy! The staff are very friendly and the service was very quick when we were in there last week. The staff really make an effort but the sandwich bread was stale.
