Yammo (Connoisseur) Credibility Score: 59% Visited: 08 Apr 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago I ate here recently with two friends, who on my recommendation, travelled from Marino. I checked out this website first to look at the menu, looked good, nice early bird. However now instead of an early bird they offer everything on the menu for half price between the hours of 5-30 and 7.30. I thought 'happy days!' The service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere not great, I think there were only two other tables occupied in the restaurant. I was very disappointed when our mains appeared, I got a plate with half chips half curry, my friend got a plate of half rice half satay fillet beef. I was never served food in that manner in a Chinese before, always you get the rice served from a bowl and meat dish is kept warm on a heated tray on the table. I know it was half price but I'd prefer to pay full price and get it right.Won't be back til they change this. Pity. Their dim sum is top quality and standard hasn't dropped. in the Har Kow dumpling(my favourite) the prawns were fresh & succulent. we had 5 dim sum in total and a bowl of friend chicken noodles to share. price was reasonable and service good. If you are ging for dim sum, you must come here as it's the best in town!!
