Nosh is about real food - big flavoured, unpretentious food in an environment to match. Nothing too fancy, nothing careless or slapdash. Nice uncomplicated food cooked with care and generosity. We are available for private parties/functions. Food was delicious early bird menu was impressive. Service lacked something ( were a bit cold ). Other than that place has a lot to offer. Worth a try '); //--> Joined Mar 10 19 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... nlk (Connoisseur) Credibility Score: 44%   Visited: 03 Apr 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago Visited this restaurant for the 2nd time on Easter Sunday. It's a well spaced small restaurant so you don't feel like the next table is on top of you. It was very quiet and whilst the service was good I thought they could have been a bit more attentive given there were only 3 tables at any one time. I had the prawn starter which was nice-although a pet hate of mine is a set menu with a choice of 4 starters and one of them has a €2.50 surcharge. If you are only putting a choice of 3 things on an early bird menu is it that difficult to offer 3 things that fit in with the set menu price? I had pasta for my main which wasn't great. The linguine was more like chinese egg noodles. Dessert, chocolate brownie, was really good. The early bird is great value.. the atmosphere was great for a sunday evening. The food was delicious.. lamb shank was especially good, fish and chips very tasty as always. Well worth a visit if you haven't been. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is delish, Fresh breads with a selection of dips to acompany on arrival, Nice set out menu (My personal favourite Fish + Chips is a must try), I urge anyone with taste to try it out for themselves. Good food and service and it usually has a good atmosphere. The winelist is a little disapointing but wouldn't put me off. Also, their breads are really good. Dessert of lemon tart was disappointing - sickly lemon curd taste. everyone else ordered the brownies which were a big hit. Service was slow and lacking. menu expensive for what it is if you're not geoing for the early bird. brunch menu well over priced. The chocolate brownie and cookie for dessert is amazing, would return just for this dessert! << First Page < Prev [Results 1 - 8 of 11] Next > Last Page >>
