Restaurant Reviews Add Your Review » Your Say Joined Feb 10 5 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... foodie12345 (Newbie) Credibility Score: 17%   Visited: 06 Feb 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago 2 of us dined here on the early bird menu.food was lovely,both ordered the honey spare ribs which are the best around.beef with ginger and spring onions was delicious.the menu incleded a glass of wine or a beer for an extra euro and coupled with a nice bottle of wine the bill was i think about 65euro.have often got a takeaway from here which is equally as good.atmosphere is lacking a little but i think the same can be said for a lot of authentic chinese restaurants.service is pleasent and efficient. Service is not great when they are busy. I have enjoyed a quite dinner for two and also had a couple of birthday parties out here. Enjoyed myself every time. '); //--> Joined Aug 09 2 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... not so fussy (Newbie) Credibility Score: 23%   Visited: 08 Oct 2009 | Posted: over 2 months ago Myself and two friends had one of the worst dining experiences ever.The food was terrible ,staff not a bit helpful.THe restaurant lacked any atmosphere.I have never been to a chinese restaurant where prawn crackers are not put on the table upon seating.We all ordered different dishes but not one of them was good.We eat out at least three times a month but we will certainly not be returning to the Orchid again,it was dreadful from start to finish,not to be recommended.
