A gorgeous Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Dublin city. Fantastic dishes and amazing atmosphere - this is sure to become a favourite. Food was very goo We were 1 vegetarian and 1 meat-eater and we were both very happy Got a voucher for a free bottle of wine so was nice and inexpensive for our meal. Pleasant staff and would recommend it Joined May 07 6 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... diananacu (Foodie) Credibility Score: 44%   Visited: 23 Apr 2010 | Posted: last month A dined here with friends on a few occasions. The service is always close to impeccable, and the food is mostly great, even though some dishes can be bland at times. The mezza is always very good here, and the babaganoush & hummus are especially good. The belly dancing is an obvious attraction, and when it's good, it's very good. Sometimes, it can disappoint though. The music they play (not the jazz) is a bit on the commercial side, but it does for a good atmosphere. '); //--> Joined Apr 09 40 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... I've heard very mixed view about this restaurant, so i was pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Great novelity restaurant with fab prices. The service needs a positive mention but the food itself did not impress at all. I felt that main course, although tasty, was not hot enough when served...Also a selection of side vegetables/salad was down below expected standard. I've chosen Sinners because of its wide range of vegetarian options, but I don't think I'll ever go back unless they improve on the sides selection. Food is good but felt rushed to get another table in. I chose Sinners as I had eaten Lebanese in another restaurant and really enjoyed it, also there was promised to be live Jazz that night, which my boyfriend loves. When we got there there were two other tables occupied, but it was quite early still. The other tables left within about half an hour and we were the only ones in the restaurant! My starter was lovely, the mince in pitta but my boyfriend didn't like his. Unfortunately my main of chicken was not very nice at all and I couldn't eat it. The portion was huge tho, so if you like it that would be a bonus. I had the same dish in another restaurant and really liked it - shame! Things I would like to see improve are: wine list is really not great, not very big selection. We still had to fight for service despite being the only people in the restautant as all the staff were sitting at another table talking. The seats were very uncomfortable (bench along the wall) and you can't put toilet paper down the toilet?? weird! Also, the jazz never materialised, i presume because we were the only ones in the restaurant at 9.30ish. Didn't enjoy the experience and woudlnt' go back.
