The best of the American steakhouses, TGI's does it best. With a MASSIVE cocktail list and uber attentive staff, it's a great place for a night out. The child friendly nature of this place makes it popular with families, and the place is always packed to the brim. I had the fried mozzarella for starters which i found a bit greasy for my liking and i wasnt able to finish it. The burger though was pretty amazing and it was a good decent portion. Overall we had a good experience and we left stuffed and happy:) Joined Jun 10 1 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... linda74 (First Timer) Credibility Score: 18% Visited: 06 Jun 2010 | Posted: last month went for sunday lunch and although id expected kids to be present I was not expecting them to be let run wild ,we waited 45 mins for our starter and another 40 mins for our mains.food greasy and nothing to brag about, '); //--> Joined May 10 29 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... student22 (Guru) Credibility Score: 54% Visited: 14 Apr 2010 | Posted: 2 Months ago I really like TGI Fridays, the service is always very good and the staff are always very friendly. the food is a little pricey for what it is though, and the new two courses for €15 isn't really worth it as the portions as smaller. The €5 cocktails are very good though, and the atmosphere is feel-good and fun :) Joined Feb 10 4 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... palmis (Newbie) Credibility Score: 17% Visited: 25 May 2010 | Posted: 2 Months ago ok ill start from positive the place itself is great and drinks are exellent... but really food was horrific... we send back tender buffalo tips.. last thing what they were was tender but first of all they were so much salt on them that i was feeling sick after one bite... anyway we send them back and our weiter told us that he wll check whats the story.. after few min hes back and told us that he thinks theres nothing wrong with our buffalo stuff and they are tasting like that all the time.. then he went to check from superviser can he take that off from our bill... on that time we just wanted to go.. in the end we had to pay for everithing what we orderd ..must say nothing was great.. my friend left the tips coz he didn want to feel like a nacker who just dont wanna pay for the food... but really none of us didnt eat near nothing so we did small stop for food on our way home... never will be back '); //--> Joined Nov 09 21 Reviews 0 Hats Off! loading... dubgirl09 (Guru) Credibility Score: 50% Visited: 25 Apr 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago Really good value and food is very tasty. I came here with a large group for friends for a night out. What made us choose here was the 2 courses for €15 and the €5 cocktails which we thought was great value especially for students. I had the mozerella dippers to start which were lovely as usual. for my main I had the chicken finger sandwich, the chicken was cold in the centre and the roll was so hard in parts it was impossible to eat. The portion sizes were also quite small. Alot of my friends had similar comments and thought it was not up to standard. For a place with a great athmosphere, location and friendly staff it is disappointing that the food was so bad! Only for the fact that a large hen party arrived while we were there, there was no atmosphere in this place at all. The service was extremely slow, with us waiting a half hour for our meal. The portion sizes have dramatically decreased, which in general is not a basd thing, except you could could teh few chips on the plate.. They seem to have cut back on the delicious chip dipping sauce which tehy used to give too. €110.74 for lunch for 4 people is a little pricey when all your getting is chipper food. Won't be hurrying back here. I got the boneless buffalo wings and a side order of their loaded mash potatoes. The buffalo wings were okay but the mash potatoes seemed kind of cold and dry like they had been sitting out for a while and reheated slightly. It took so long to get the food in the first place I didn't send it back. Husband ordered a pint of Miller and it was flat with a chive stuck to the inside of the glass as if it had been poorly cleaned. He had to send it back. My Guinness didn't taste right, maybe the first pull of the night? I've never been impressed with this location of TGI Friday and I only came here because it was a friend's birthday choice. I wish the manager would take notice of these poor reviews and do something about it. << First Page < Prev [Results 1 - 8 of 28] Next > Last Page >>
