The Old Schoolhouse is located in the centre of Swords village in North county Dublin. The setting of the restaurant is unique and historical; a beautiful old building creates the warm, friendly and informal atmosphere evident in the restaurant. The building itself was originally built in 1846 as a school house, and it was converted to a restaurant in 1982. Since then it has steadily built up a reputation for dining excellence in Dublin, and the wide European and Irish menu provides plenty of choice for diners. The Old Schoolhouse was refurbished ten years ago in order to improve the interior style of the restaurant, while still retaining its old world charm. The restaurant menu boasts a wide range of tasty Irish and European dishes that will be certain to have plenty of choice for everyone no matter what the occasion. The menu is dominated by delicious steak and fresh seafood, and only the finest locally sourced Irish produce.
