Wright's of Howth has been synonymous with the best of Irish seafood and shellfish since they started smoking Irish salmon in1893. The Seafood Bar is their latest venture adding to their existing operations which encompass a seafood export wholesale business together with retail and restaurant businesses.
The Seafood Bar makes the most of the Engineers Hall at the Dawson Hotel which formerly housed La Stampa restaurant and is regarded as one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the city. A complete refurbishment has created a stylish yet relaxed space, skillfully sectioned. To the right as guests enter, there's a mirrored Seafood Bar with oyster counter, complemented by high marble topped tables and bar seats, creating a casual dining and drinking area. With a new smoked oak floor throughout, large mirrors, chandeliers and booth style seating, the main dining area is stylish and impressive, but uncluttered, allowing the room's scale and dimensions to shine through.
