The Baggot Inn is the only bar to offer the unique "Pull your own Pint" experience for you and your party. We have 11 Booths / Tables which are available to book, each table has a set of taps which allow you to pour your own perfect pints of Carlsberg or Guinness. We also have our expert bar staff on hand to offer training and tips on how to pull that perfect pint. Main course and glass of wine or pint for €10 - still hard to believe. You can choose anything off the menu except the steak medallions. 2 of us had chilli baked potato, one had home-made burger and one fillet of chicken burger - no complaints at all. Each dish served with chunky chips and salad. We were told all food fresh - nothing frozen. As on previous occasions - great service and staff lovely. We stayed on to have another drink and the bill for 4 of us incl. food and 2 drinks each was €60 - try to beat that for value. There main courses are tasty and very filling which makes them very good value for money. There is a good choice available also. After struggling to try and finish our lunch, a very friendly waitress told us there was free apple crumble available lunch time on Wednesday and offered us a serving each. The manager spoke to us to find out if we were happy with our lunch He is a very friendly and customer focused person who clearly enjoys his work and also likes to see that the customers leave the pub happy and content after their meal, highly recommend, will return. Instantly loved the amercian-bar feel and was surprised by the great atmostphere for a wet wednesday lunchtime(which I later found out that could have been caused by their free dessert on a wednesday!) Service was very good, didn't need to be looking around to catch a waitresses eye, they were prompt and friendly. Food was regular prices, but soup and panini deal for 11 euro was really good and HUGE! Good value for money, and if you're planning on that being your dinner for the day it's really good, very filling. Saw the pour your own pint tables and they look great, meant to have a v good atmostphere at weekends. Always lovely staff and very clean, friendly place. Not sure why people aren't flocking to this place after work more often! Food was ok, had a few drinks, the service was TERRIBLE. The girl behind the bar was bad mannered and rude on a number of occasions, the manager that was working was nice but honestly, my dealing with this girl would put me off going again, its a nice bar which I used to like but good staff make a place. A different girl served us our meals and she was nice but the other girl...
