Locals love the snack menu and the relaxing atmosphere of this Dublin bar and restaurant. Sink into the wide leather and velvet sofas and chairs by the open fireplace or wind down with a drink and a light meal in the restaurant. Set over 2 levels with floor-to-ceiling windows, the contemporary wood and glass design complements its Irish and international grill cuisine. We now play live music every Friday & Saturday night from 9:30pm - 11:30pm! We ate from the early bird carvery menu. This is available up to 3pm on saturdays. There was a great selection of fresh food for only €8.95 for main meal or €11.95 for two courses!! I had the Malaysian Chicken & Coconut Curry with Basmati Rice and a portion of chips. This was very very tasty and portions are filling!! From arrival to departure the staff were great - very friendly and efficient. I found this lunch to be great value. The atmosphere is very relaxed, i enjoyed my visit and will be sure to return soon. Sparkles (Guru) Credibility Score: 86% Visited: 23 Jan 2010 | Posted: over 2 months ago I had breakfast here for the first time on 23rd Jan with a friend of mine and I have already been back a few times. There is a hot buffet with all the regular fry-up components (although some of them were actually grilled). There were cold meats and smoked salmon, breads, yogurts, fruit, cereal, pastries, juices and bottled water. The chef will cook any type of eggs you like to order and the coffee, which is costa, is all included in the €10 flat price. We sat there for a good hour and when they were closing the kitchen they asked if we would like another cappuccino and if we would like to take it to the bar - all included in the price! The value here continues to impress me. I have also recently been for lunch and had lovely homemade soup as well as fantastic fresh fish and chips on another recent occasion. Ate in the restaurant this weekend (left it late to book anywhere and had been told that it was nice). Was genuinely shocked at how nice it was. Three courses and drink for two for €65 and all three courses were exceptional. We have already booked a Christmas meal here with friends. Highly recommend it.
