There's a warm atmosphere to this friendly local, which is suprising given its size - it consists of two different lounges and a bar. The portions are always huge & the price is standard usually €12.95-€13.95. They always have carvery serving until about 6pm so if you dont want an early dinner this will suit. They always have a good selection of Deserts aswell. After Carvery stops the have a Bar food menu which services until about 10pm. Good Variety of items on this, i have had the oriental chicken & noodle dish & also the Black Lion burger & both were lovely! So if you live in the area & enjoy Pub Grub & maybe a quite pint, the Black Lion is a good choice!
