The West County Hotel is located in the village of Chapelizod, County Dublin. Chapelizod is part of the Greater Dublin Area and is convenient to the airport via the M50 and the city centre via the N4. This hotel has been owned by the Colgan family for 40 years or so, and when you arrive you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
There are 50 guest bedrooms. All are ensuite and come with a TV, a radio, a hairdryer, ironing equipment and tea/coffee making facilities. The Lounge Bar is the perfect venue for a few quiet pints and there's also an extensive carvery on offer. The hotel also has its own restaurant, Pine Restaurant, and here you can choose from an a la carte menu and an extensive wine list.
The West County Hotel is located just 7km from the city centre. On the way into Dublin you'll pass the Phoenix Park and the Irish National War Memorial Park. When you arrive in the city centre you can go shopping on Grafton Street or Henry Street. And for some late night entertainment you will find no equal to Temple Bar with all of its pubs, clubs and restaurants. Attractions in the city include Trinity College, Kilmainham Gaol and the Guinness Brewery.
