All you can eat for 30€ was the offer. i was looking forward to a real Chinese feast. As a starter i ordered crispy wontons and although they were ok, they were very greasy and only 3 little pieces. so i thought i could do better with the main. I ordered the whole Seabass. Disappointing- it arrived fried with the head and the tail still on, and therefore very little edible meat. The worst part was that it came with a strange sauce and peas (an unusual Chinese accompaniment). When I complained, I was told, curtly, "thats what you ordered!" So much so for "all you could eat";I was given no choice of substiute. My main remained almsost untouched. the table was cleared so carelessly that some food finished on one of my colleague's shirt. No apology was given. But they were very quick to ask for payment.I finished my meal with a very average banoffee.Overall a very big disappointment and certainly not a place to go back to. The staff are very friendly, and the decor is beautiful inside. The food, unfortunately, is fairly average. I had the szechuan chicken, which was a little on the bland side. Competent but not spectacular, which would be ok if the prices reflected this. This restaurant is overpriced for what it is, in my opinion. '); //--> Joined Oct 08 8 Reviews 1 Hats Off! loading... The maitre'd is really on top of things and seems to effortlessly get around to every table and make sure everyone is happy. Good value wine list is also a major plus! My main was Crispy Shredded Beef which came in a birdsnest and tasted fab! Dessert of Banoffee Pie was brill but I was jealous of those who went for the sticky toffee pudding!!! Great value, great staff and great food, would HIGHLY recommend!!! We went for the all you can eat €32 a head option, you can selct fromt he full menu, which is in itself quiet a good chinese menu, yuk sung and dim sum were my starters selection and both were fabulous, thai beef sald was very tasty and we all got to try a bit of everything, main course order wasnt; wtaken until after we finished our startersd and this was well appreciated. I had teh Seabass with Ginger and scallion....delicious, but came out about 20 minutres after everyine elses. this who could fit it in went for deserts and with alort of wine and drinks the bill was only €55 a head...no complaints on the food and apart from the seabass arriving late..no more complaints either. Teh Karaoke entertainment began at about 11:30 ad this was brilliant...mics put on every table and everyone joined in..Great for a group night out! Anyway both our starters were lovely chicken satay & samosa's. My daughter got beef curry for main which was also nice. However I got chicken chow mein and it looked like a clump of straw on my plate, it was really dry. I asked for sauce and they brought me garlic sauce which was very thick and wasnt nice with it. Overall: For my 1st visit I wasn't overly impressed with food but havent said that I would give it another try! The €25pp as many plates as you want is fantastic, our waiter very happily recommended a number of dishes, even suggested a few of the Chef's own dishes, all served in small enough portions to enjoy properly. Been back a number of times now and have never been disappointed.
