St. Patrick's Festival 2007

St. Patrick's Festival is Ireland's official celebration for our national holiday – St. Patrick's Day. Around the globe on March 17th Ireland is celebrated with parties and parades but the BIG party is here in Ireland where we celebrate in style with five days and nights of fantastic celebratory events, most of which are free!

From March 15th to 19th there is so much on offer - music, street theatre, family carnivals, comedy, street performances, dance, a treasure hunt, night spectacles ... 4000 performers and 1 million people celebrating Ireland. So whether you are Irish or just wish you were, Dublin is the place to be this March to enjoy Ireland's biggest party.

40 Songs of Green

Thursday 15th - 16th March 2007

Come and celebrate St. Patrick’s Festival with Barabbas. This unique event is one part concert to two parts theatrical insanity. Five red nosed clowns get caught literally in the middle of the performance. The concert, a musical celebration of all things 'Oirish', subsequently takes many unexpected twists and turns. Clowns spring leaks, fall in and out of love and generally cause havoc and mayhem.

Directed by Veronica Coburn. Composed and Arranged by Debra Salem. Conductor Bernard Riley.

Would you like to perform in the National Concert Hall? Would you like to be part of a 100 strong choir?

Venue Information: National Concert Hall (NCH)
